About Me
- Name: Philip
I discovered haiku in the summer of 2004 while browsing poetry forums. Since then I kept a little journal of my haiku and in winter of 2005/6 I started other writings i.e.- short story, prose, and poetry. All my writing essentially centers around haiku. All my haiku are 5-7-5 syllables.

This warms and relaxes me.
Why? I am not sure but I have been kicking around a few thoughts and ideas. No definitive answer yet. May be much more complicated than meets the eyes.
I was meeting my boss in a Koo-Koo-Roo and on my way out of the parking lot I noticed a little dragonfly bouncing on this dirty puddle from the water runoff from the resturant. I like to observe the interactions and non-interactions of nature and man's nature.
Orignially the haiku was going to be:
